WE’RE back in Harley Street as episode two of Hidden begins.
But this time it’s out of hours and after dark.
If you were intrigued by the first hour of Philip Glenister’s new BBC1 drama, then the second 60 minutes should have you hooked.
Even though it’s almost a full eight minutes before Harry Venn appears on screen.
He goes to see barrister Sir Nigel Fountain (David Suchet), who takes him out for lunch.
Before the Kentish Town solicitor heads back to Belmarsh Prison.
Later boarding the Eurostar to catch up with Gina Hawkes (Thekla Reuten) in Paris.
Where we – briefly – get to hear Mr Glenister’s French accent.
Among other things we find out more about:
– Who Gina is.
– The stabbing of Jennifer Moscati in Paris.
– Billionaire industrialist James Morpeth.
– Jason Styles
– The Help Desk
It’s classy stuff with even more questions arising to keep you watching.
Quite apart from the brooding central performance from Monsieur Glenister.
Next week’s episode three picks up directly after the dramatic end of this one.
When Harry finds himself in need of a very large drink.
Hidden continues on BBC1 at 9pm on Thursday.
