CONGRATULATIONS to Anthony McPartlin, who married girlfriend Lisa Armstrong this afternoon.
One half of Geordie duo Ant and Dec, he tied the knot at St Nicholas Church in Taplow, Bucks, as rain poured down outside.

Best man was, of course, Declan Donnelly, with a reception to follow at nearby Cliveden. Guests included Dec’s ex-girlfriend Clare Buckfield.

Both now aged 30, Ant and Dec are near neighbours of mine and can often be seen in the local pub watching Newcastle United matches on the big screen.
As well as being hugely popular with viewers, they’re a big hit with the media. I’ve interviewed them several times and they’re always enthusiastic and down-to-earth.
It’s refreshing that Ant and Lisa, 29, turned down a reported £2m magazine deal for exclusive coverage of their wedding.
And the lads will be delighted to have learned that Newcastle won 3-0 this afternoon, away at Norwegian team Lillestrom, to secure a place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup.
