Sara Martins as Camille Bordey and Ben Miller as Richard Poole.

FANCY some rays of sunshine on these dark autumn nights?

Death In Paradise should be just what you need to forget about the chill in the air and that latest gas bill.

Written by Robert Thorogood and starting on BBC1 a week tomorrow – Tuesday October 25 – it’s a fish out of water drama filmed in the Caribbean.

I saw the first episode at a London cast and crew screening last month.

And then spoke to leading lady Sara Martins – still recovering from an extra drama on location – and executive producer Tony Jordan.

Russell Tovey, Sinead Keenan, Aidan Turner and Lenora Crichlow

THE rather wonderful Being Human returns for a third BBC3 series tonight.

With a brilliant opening episode featuring Mitchell’s quest to rescue Annie from purgatory.

Plus a move to Wales, the arrival of Robson Green and Michael Sorcha, an impressive guest appearance by Lacey Turner and just the odd twist in the tale.

Also screened on the BBC HD channel.

I met up with Russell Tovey, Sinead Keenan and Michael last October to discuss the new series.

Aidan Turner as Mitchell

THE vampire, the werewolf and the ghost were watched by 1.4m viewers when they returned for a second BBC3 series last Sunday.

Aidan Turner (vampire Mitchell), Russell Tovey (werewolf George) and Lenora Crichlow (ghost Annie) are back for more this weekend.

Mitchell encounters an old friend, George and Nina (Sinead Keenan) are still trying to make their relationship work and Annie asks Saul out on a date.

Saul being played by former Spooks star Alex Lanipekun, whose MI5 character Ben Kaplan met a particularly bloody end.
