And They Called It Puppy Love

JUST a few hours to go now before the big Christmas Day TV highlights.
Doctor Who kicks off this evening’s viewing for me.
Followed by the hour long Christmas night special of Coronation Street.
It should be a cracker after last night’s classic episode featuring the attack on Jed Stone.
With echoes back to the 1960s for long-time Weatherfield fans.
Regular readers will already know not to miss Wallace and Gromit’s A Matter Of Loaf And Death on BBC1 at 8.30pm.
And along with millions of others, I have high hopes for the return of The Royle Family.

I’m here all over the Christmas and New Year holiday.
So why not let me know your personal festive TV highlights and lowlights by leaving a comment below?
In the meantime…Happy Christmas.
Update: Younger viewers may like to click on the below to discover the inspiration for Wallace and Gromit’s Bake-O-Lite Girl – one of a series of 1970s TV ads for Nimble bread.
