SO there we were, watching a preview of a new TV drama at ITV Network Centre in London.
Written by At Home With The Braithwaites creator Sally Wainwright, the first episode of Bonkers lives up to its title.
Even so, prepared as I am for most things, I have to admit I didn’t see a certain twist coming.
It involves a film star called Felix Nash and something rather strange.

I’ve no idea if Sally has been watching Life On Mars (and there’s more about that series in this blog tomorrow).
But I’d be very interested to hear what you make of it when Bonkers begins on ITV1 this Thursday.
The series stars Liza Tarbuck and Mark Addy as a husband and wife about to mark their 20th wedding anniversary.
I spoke to The Full Monty star Mark after the screening about his return home from four years in America, appearing in hit comedy Still Standing.
You can read more about that – and Bonkers – in the MEN feature here.
Double bills of Still Standing episodes currently screen in the UK on Trouble TV at 8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
More details about that show here.
