I agree – life aint perfect after all. But this film was just one point of view. I gather that Enid Blyton’s older daughter was far kinder about her mother. Who knows? I just hope it encourages people who have never heard of her (and amazingly there are many) to investigate Enid’s books.

Yes it was extremely well played by all the cast. Her books were a big part of my childhood. I’ve lost count of how many I read. Now I feel rather disappointed after seeing she was so awful to her family. What a shame life aint perfect after all.
